Company Overview

Hamworthy is a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced marine fluid handling systems for ships and offshore oil and gas facilities. It has a significant market share in most of its nine product areas. The group serves international markets and customers which, typically, are commercial and naval shipbuilding yards, ship owners and oil and gas companies. Hamworthy is headquartered in Poole, Dorset and has design, development and production facilities in the UK, Norway, Denmark, Singapore and a modern assembly plant in China. It employs approximately 640 people worldwide. In addition, the group has a order book which, at 30 September 2004, stood at £80.9 million.
