There are two main underwriting parts of the Hiscox Group: Hiscox Global Markets, trading primarily through Syndicate 33 at Lloyd's in the London Market, underwrites mainly internationally traded business - generally large or complex business which needs to be shared with other insurers or which need the international licences of Lloyd's; Hiscox UK and Europe, trading outside Lloyd's in the UK and mainland Europe, underwrites a wide range of specialist insurance for professionals and business customers, and also high value household business and fine art risks.
