Timan Oil & Gas Plc is an oil & gas exploration and production company and was incorporated in 2005 in order to participate in the consolidation and development of oil and gas properties in Russia and the countries of the Former Soviet Union. Timan’s assets consist of 2 licences in the Timan-Pechora region of Northeast European Russia, one covering the NGPT filed and the other covering KNG field: The NGPT Field is located 17 km east of the town of Ukhta, in the Timan-Pechora region, an established oil and gas province of Russia within relative proximity to Moscow being situated approximately 1,200 km north of the capital. The KNG Field is also located in the Timan-Pechora basin. In addition, through its 80 % ownership of Geotermneftegas ("Geoterm"), Timan Oil & Gas Plc has an interest in two licences over exploration blocks in the Caspian Sea which are in close proximity to Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan Republic.
