Company Overview
Esure offers insurance products and peace of mind to almost two million drivers, home owners, pet owners and holiday makers across the UK. The company was launched in 2001 as a joint venture between insurance guru, Peter Wood, and Halifax plc. It launched Sheilas’ Wheels - the UK’s leading female-focused insurance brand - in 2005.
Following a management buy-out in February 2010, esure became an independent company which on 27 February 2013 announced its intention to float on the UK stock market.
