Turbo Genset was formed in 1986 at Imperial College in London where Professor Colin Besant and his team were developing patented axial flux technology for use in high-speed alternators. Since then, Turbo Genset has since focussed its attentions on developing strategic partnerships with other key technology companies such as Dtech, Walter, Altek, Magellan and Thermax for producing power electronics for the rail, aviation and specialised power sector.
