Company Overview

AG Barr is the UK's leading independent manufacturer of branded carbonated soft drinks. The long-established company produces a large range of soft drinks including IRN-BRU, Tizer, D&B, and Orangina (produced under licence from Orangina's parent company Pernod Ricard). Their four production sites at Cumbernauld, Mansfield, Atherton and Pitcox are supported by distribution centres covering the whole of the UK.

The company is particularly proud of its very loyal workforce of over 900 - and at the end of January 2005, 417 employees had received an award to mark 15 years service with several of these also receiving a gold watch for 25 years service. Their brand IRN-BRU appeared for the first time in the list of the top 100 brands across the UK and in Scotland, standard IRN-BRU is the number one brand.
