Company Overview

Computacenter is a European, leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. The company works with businesses and government organisations at every stage of their infrastructure investment to help minimise the costs and maximise the business value of their IT. The Group is headquartered at Hatfield, with branch offices located across the UK, France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Computacenter employs approximately 10,000 people and serves its customers via dedicated commercial, finance, government and strategic partners. The organisation advises customers on a range of strategic IT and business issues from storage and security, to wireless solutions and web services. The company also has relationships with all the leading IT vendors, and has a dedicated service desk in the UK that provides helpdesk services to its customers, and a remote monitoring facility at its European headquarters that continuously checks the performance of IT systems. Customers are evenly spread across all sectors and include names such as: Abbey, Astra Zeneca, Barclays Bank, BP, BT, Credit Suisse, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Inland Revenue, Merrill Lynch, Ordnance Survey, Royal Mail, EDF Energy, Royal Bank of Scotland and the Woolwich Building Society.
