Company Overview
Premier is a UK-listed upstream oil and gas company with interests in eight countries around the world.
They have significant operations in the North Sea (UK and Norway) as well as presence in Asia, and Middle East/Africa/Pakistan (MEAP) with a reserve and resource base in excess of 500 mmboe, which is currently producing around 60,000 boepd (as of 31 December 2011). They are targeting growing production to 75,000 boepd run rate by year end 2012 and 100,000 boepd in the medium term.
The Group had approximately 625 employees as at 31 December 2011, including 239 employees based in the UK and 386 overseas.
Company Strategy
Premier's strategy is to achieve continuous growth in their production and development portfolio, whilst offering shareholders material upside through their exploration programme.
